So.. I have a small room. And it's fine that I have a small room, except my PC puts off a decent amount of heat.

 

I'm not entirely sure if it's my GPU, or CPU, but I want to find out if I can make my system output less heat.

(My guess is it's my R9 290, and I'm okay with getting a new card if I need)

I can see that you're a member of a folding group. That might be the cause and no difference in any card will make it less warm in your room as most card run 70-85C. Watercooling will help, but I would suggest just opening the window. I've been folding for couple of weeks and the fresh + Hot PC = 22C fresh air :)
