HDMI receiver not working... again...

So, I did the fix on my onkyo receiver to fix the HDMI board.

 

Plug everything in, turn it on, and ALAS, windows logo, windows is starting up, and the receiver works!!!!!

 

After windows logo disapears, the screen goes black, the monitor goes to sleep, and the receiver says no signal.

 

This is a problem with windows, not the receiver.

 

Ideas?

if i set it up as a secondary monitor, and dont use the passthorugh, its fine.

 

but the main weird problem is the pass through works until windows fully loads

Can you manually set the "display settings" for the receiver? screen resolution and refresh rate?

try changing the refresh rate 

is it a 1080P or 1080i receiver?

1080p i beleive.

 

I could try that, but I cant have 2 monitors untill i get my adapter tomorow of the next day

if the refresh is at 60Hz manually set it too the 59 setting some receivers and tv's are very picky about their refresh rate.
