So today i finally upgraded to win 10, and ofcourse everything went to shit. My ethenet dosen't wprk anymore. I have googled around for ages, tried the softwareless killer network driver, and the killer suite driver, but nothing works. The killersuite driver has a problem installing the e220x driver, and the softwareless driver works, but the yellow triangle of death is above my internet connection. I have tried to disable killer bandwith manager inside the driver, but i still need help.

The erroe message is: There appears to be something wrong with the ethernet driver

Well, that's helpful. Thank you, Microsoft. :DLooks like you're not alone.

Did all the other drivers install fine from the MSI website? Back with vista and early Win 7 I've dealt with machines that needed to have the chipset driver installed first or stuff like this had a tendency to happen.

Also you could always try the driver from Killer themselves. It's usually not a good practice to go past the OEM since there's no telling what if any modifications MSI has done to the Killer chip but your situation couldn't be much worse so I guess it can't hurt to try.

If you have access to a separate NIC or a Wi-Fi dongle and an AP or if you can share the internet on your phone via USB, you could try using the windows update to get the driver.

And lastly, there is a built-in option in the upgrade version of Win 10 to revert back to the old OS. You can always get that back.

Try installing the driver you would use for windows 7 or 8, in most cases that should work just fine. If it doesn't work; at worst you may simply BSOD and be able to reboot without a hitch.

My procrastination is the bane of my existence.

I make games and stuff in my spare time.

So was the problem solved or no? If yes, marked solved. If no, check this make sure you have these installed. Some vpn software can install drivers, if you see anything related to vpn, uninstall it (hotspot shield, cyber ghost etc)

Yeah it can happen if you forcibly install a driver through the device manager... In any version of windows for that matter.

I make games and stuff in my spare time.
