First build ever - does it look good?

First time building a pc and I'm 99% sure that this is what I'm gonna go with.
I want it for gaming only. And I know I don't "need" an i7 but I want to have something powerful for any other tasks I might need. And the cooler will be replaced by a liquid one when I decide to OC.

Also, I'm only going with a 970 just until Pascal comes out, I don't want to spend a ton of money on a 980 ti , only to see a better gpu with half the price 6 months later.

So, do you have any suggestions/recommendations on any of the parts?

Why not a R9 390 instead of the 970?

i would suggest going for a wd or seagate (preferably wd since seagate's reputation) instead of your 1 tb toshiba. I mean its kind of a gamble. you can have it last  forever or die in a week. If you want more reliability than that...

The WD and Seagate equivalents have some pretty sketchy reviews where I checked. Many DOAs and failures after a while.
