2x 7950 GPU's for LiteCoin Mining

Go to solution Solved by Tonny,

Days to break even: 259.72 Day(s) (can vary greatly depending on the current exchange rates)

.....

So I am looking at building a budget litecoining mining setup based off of 2 7950 GPU's.  What kind of profits are you guys posting from similar GPU setups?  I just want to see if this would be worth it...

Some parts are missing because I already have them.

That APU is most likely going to bottleneck the crossfire... I really can't tell you what to get, if a 6300 or a 8150, or 8350

@CoolBeans we need you help!

Planning on trying StarCitizen (Highly recommended)? STAR-NR5P-CJFR is my referal link

You know just trying to pay my way through grad school with a mining rig lol.  I have heard estimates that I could break even with the start up cost in about two months, but what do you guys think?

I think it's a stupid idea and you'd better invest the start up cost in something else ...

Ah so definitely not worth it.  Could I ask where you calculated that at?  I know the article I was referencing prior to this was a couple of months old.

you need to include the power cost as well .

If you have the budget get a 8350 if not 6300 and the 8150 is outdated.

I wonder how many parents will get angry at their kids when they see the electricity bill.
