Used PSUs

Go to solution Solved by thekeemo,

Not if the difference isn't huge

My policy is 50% of retail or gtfo

If you are running a low power system, and get a name brand one, then maybe if you get it cheap. But if you have higher end stuff not worth risking your hardware to a crap PSU

Yeah it's only a £10-20 difference... Offtopic: I can get a 6990 for £30... I like eBay.

meanwhile I think eBay is overpriced... Not once have I seen a deal on eBay better than local

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

Can I trust one? There isn't too much of a price difference but saving money is useful.

EDIT: Said unit is an XFX Pro (something)

That's a good PSU. However, like @thekeemo said, you better be saving lots of money to justify buying it used.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
