Is skylake worth it?

It will cosy $750 to upgrade to skylake. 350 if I sell my cpu and mobo. Is it worth it?

From your current 4790k I wouldnt bother.

Also dont forget youll probs need ddr4 memory too

Not much unless you have a overclocked Titan X 

Runs at 4-7 deg lower than the 4790k; part of my reasoning for purchasing the 6700k.
