Okay, so i'm doing a PC build in a couple months and i'm looking for a card that can run some good quality games on 1080p high settings. My price range is around 180-240 USD (since I live in the United States). Since I am an active watcher on the linustectips channel, I turned to the forums. So, What graphics card should I get.

Ok, so the r9 290 or r9 290x both take a lot of power. Like 750w to 1000w. An with the r9 380 there are two of them on amazon. The first one is the Sapphire Radeon nitro r9 380 and then there is msi r9 380.

What? The last I checked, the r9 290/x uses only 250-300w.

i5 2400 | ASUS RTX 4090 TUF OC | Seasonic 1200W Prime Gold | WD Green 120gb | WD Blue 1tb | some ram | a random case

R9 290 is fine on a mediocre 450W. R9 290X is fine on a decent 500W - stock of course.

A good 550W PSU will allow you to OC either of those.

R9 290 uses about 290-320W

R9 290X uses about 300-350W

A R9 380 only uses about 190W
