I built this setup for someone I know IRL and it is currently running Linux Mint. There is no reason it shoulden't work with Windows though if that is what you want (and it's price is far enough below US$500 to allow for space to get Windows).

this,but an i3+ a 380/285 would be better if you can get windows from reddit/g2a for 20 usd
