Query into my new PC

JoeyOnline

Hey there fellow Linus Media Group followers!

I am currently in the process of building a new PC and have a budget of around £700

I have put together a build for £800 pounds (http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/DZDRdC) and wanted to see if you the reader can come up with any suggestions to make it cheaper.

I plan to use this build for playing games such as Battlefront, GTA V, CS GO and other similar games to those genres. I also plan to do some light image editing.

Many thanks,

Joseph

The psu is not modular which is a pain. However, it is an excellent unit based on the Seasonic S12G platform.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

If you are getting an unlocked CPU, why an h97 board? If you want to save a few bucks you could cut down a bit on your psu. As well, you could turn to a hyper 212 evo, which is less than half the price of the h55. Also, why mini itx? Atx costs bout the same and the case will give you better airflow. What resolution will you be gaming on?

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.
