Im going to take the free upgrade to windows 10, but should I do it.

My concerns:

-Many of my games on steam support up to Win 8 and 7, will it still work on windows 10 (games like: Skyrim, Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2, Left 4 dead 2, and many more)

-Early access games like ARK and H1Z1 say that, but will those work on 10 too

-would I lose all my downloaded programs and games

-Are there any other downfalls???

-Should I stop being a virgin and get my lazy ass up and go fuck a woman

I have never had any of the problems listed so far. I also don't use a VPN so I wouldn't know about that... Generally speaking, if a game works on W8 it will work on W10. It won't remove any of your files if you choose an in-place upgrade

Just upgrade already! It's free and awesome!

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

Ehh, I've been running a Windows 10 fresh install on a Surface Pro 3 for a while and have been experiencing some major issues as well. Don't see many people having my issue so don't know how widespread these are:

-Randomly shutting down during sleep. (Not by updates)

-Mouse randomly disconnects. Need to re-plugin my mouse.

-Refusing to sleep automatically if I have vJoy driver installed and enabled

Going to have a new desktop soon. And I'm still pondering whether to install 7 or 10 on it...

Eh, I've had no major problems with it so far, just try MSX out for a while and if you don't like it just simply revert.

Just download win 7 and if u decide to get win 10, use the free upgrade.

  • Random crashes
  • VPN connectivity issues

Only if you upgrade though. I haven't run in any of these problems after doing a clean install.

I've had very few, very minor issues. Creative Labs was pretty slow to roll out Windows 10 drivers for their X-Fi cards, and I've had some issues with folder permissions after an upgrade. Otherwise it's been fine.

Games do not need to explicitly list Windows 10 compatibility to work fine. I haven't found any games that have any serious issues running under Windows 10. Since the OS hasn't changed under the hood that much, there isn't much reason to expect otherwise.
