We will globally advertise for ideas of the REAL G Next Project. With selecting distinguished ideas, adopting various views and technological advance, we are going to complete a final plan.
Through the course of scheme & execution designs and simulation test, we will eventually proceed to the stage of a content production.
The entire schedule is to be completed by 2019, the year we achieve dreams of the project.

I wont be surprized if this succeeds, we develop new technology faster and faster each year. I even think that some are even hiding or limiting the tech that comes out (Marketing Strategy to have a stable income). Nonetheless it would be fun to see these things in reall life, not just a statue. What a time to be alive. Full sized working Gundams, we you can do it!!

Thats why they are looking for different kinds of people, from Engineers, to Programmers. Who knows someone here in LTT would wind up becoming the software engineer of the Gundam's OS.

I still think better AI support is what we should develop first similar to Jarvis or TARS/CASE. Imagine what badass robot that would be. Send them to outer space and report to their human overlords for science.

So what is the actual objective of this project?

 

All it says on the website is to make a life size Gundam that moves.

 

And why is it called a challenge?

 

Probably because no one has ever build a 20 meter high robot that can be operated from inside. Just a thought.
