I have Micca MB42Xs and an SMSL SA50. Can I just leave on the amp all the time? Or should I turn it off when not using it?

I don't know if it could actually hurt it in anyway, but it sounds like it's a hassle to turn it off, if you're turning to use for answer.  It would save you energy and money on your electrical bill to turn it off.

Not likely to hurt anything leaving it on, except nature and your power bill.

Screw nature am I right?

No. You're not. But, class D, so probably not a huge dent in any case.

It was sarcasm.

Leave it on if the potential static does not bother you, and it stays cool. My 150W amp is completely passive, and never gets warm. I turn mine off because the chassis is grounded to amp ground, but amp ground CANNOT be input ground. So if you touch the case (or a cat sleeps on it) the speakers make noise. But I will solve this issue... when I care.

TLDR leave it on if it stays cool and power costs do not concern you

I turn my receiver off because

A: it will get hot without the 120mm fan in the cabinet

B: it makes a weird hum
