Hey LTT fellows,

 

I have exciting news. At my school we have many clubs, a game club not being one, so I decided to fix that.

I started the CGC or Competitive Game Club.

 

I was hoping you guys would have some suggestions for games? (Free ofc because this is a club where I want people to play together and not be left out because of monetary issues)

Highschool? You might want to also limit the games to Teen and below ratings. There was a game club at my highschool and the school administration didn't allow M+ games since most of us were 17 or younger.

And no League or Dota (Mobas are terrible IMO) And I need to talk to IT for computer access.

Unturned is really nice and free but doesn't have the best graphics.

My i5 6500 is bad and can't even maintain 4.5ghz, and 4.4ghz causes it to slowly become unstable over weeks with a vcore of 1.395. FML

TF2 and WarThunder are pretty great F2P games. Other than that maybe look into Dungeon Defenders 2, it's tower defense, I haven't tried it yet, but I love the first one so I'm assuming the second one is at least decent.

Dirty Bomb is a fun, free alternative to CS:GO or similar games. You are required to download Steam, though.

I like the suggestions, but again, I need to talk to IT to get steam downloaded on the computers, Minecraft I can do because the room where we meet is gonna have computers with java (My programming class) but yeah, just need to speak with IT.

The first Halo game on PC is pretty fun on LAN, not exactly free, but it's something to consider.

Heroes and generals - requires no steam

Battlefield 2 - i belive is also free, i think you can just download the 1.6 patch and you get the whole game
