Painting a GPU

Hi, i am building a pc and for a graphics card I was looking at the msi gtx 970 and was wondering if i could paint it because my build is blue and black but the card is red. If I can, what should i use?

It is only a few quick screws to take off the twin frozer shell and repaint it (use plastidip). There was a thread on here somewhere that showed someone doing it. Looks really nice.

If you don't care about the LED you can cut the line and not need to take off the heatsink.

Take it apart and use plasti-dip. Or rustoleum's Flexi dip. Look at the sponsored build log in my signature where I make a metallic blue sapphire GPU.

OR get a XFX R9 380/390 that is an absolute beauty!!! So god damn sexy beast of a card!

Also, i;m not sure if the gtx 970 is necessary for gaming. Would the gigabyte gtx 960 be okay or 970 all the way?
