I am looking for a TV to use for gaming with an Xbox one. I want to get a Samsung 4k TV but I heard there are small things to look out for but I'm not sure what they are. It would be cool if you guys could help me find a good TV. People I have talked to say that you cant just go off refresh rate anymore because they hid things in the tech specs of the product that can lower performance but I'm not sure if that's true.

What I'm looking for

  • Samsung
  • 4k
  • 42-55 inch
  • 600-1000 USD price range
  • Good enough for gaming

Reason for Samsung is because I have never had a problem with there products before.

I need this for Fallout 4

samsung is a good choice, you can set the HDMI 1 input to not post-process images giving you lower latency and accurate colours when used with PC/gaming systems

ignore the Hz, none of those tvs can do over 60Hz native

are you using your tv for anything other than your xbox? because if not, 4k is a complete and pointless waste of money

NEW PC build: Blank Heaven   minimalist white and black PC     Old S340 build log "White Heaven"        The "LIGHTCANON" flashlight build log        Project AntiRoll (prototype)        Custom speaker project

Yes it will be hooked up to my PC. Xbox One does support 4k though...

not games, no

and youre not looking for curved, right?

so just narrow down your results on amazon or wherever youre buying from like this:

tv > led > 4k > 55" (or 42 or 48 or 50, whatever you prefer) > samsung > sort by price low to high > pick the first one or two
