Hey has anyone here seen south park. I'm a big fan of it and am excited for the fractured but whole! Probably my favourite show!

Isn't the humor kind of bottom of the barrel? I saw a episode or two and didn't like it.

I thought the combat system was pretty good in SoT. It was made by obsidian after all.

I'm just not a fan of the style (most of the fights are just tedious/drawn out and not actually hard), it's not that it was bad.

Actually there are two sides to South Park there is the "toilet humour" then there is the "social commentary" humour, so while its a very silly show, some episodes can be very political, or comment on real social issues etc - its very cleverly written, its show how messed up the adult world is, but shown through the eyes of kids

I think since season 25 they've turned really mature (sex jokes 24/7) but season 1-20 was great

I know. But for me, as a SP fan it was a perfect video game adaption of a TV series.

Yes, I love the way that they mix pop culture into it, they've adapted into trends and new things. They even made a episode about how the kids (who tried to invent something) they always failed because the Simpsons had created it before them. Pretty funny show.

yea especially more recently, they have made all sorts of social and political comments, obviously all wrapped up through the "innocence" of youth

I know. But for me, as a SP fan it was a perfect video game adaption of a TV series.

I enjoyed the content...just not the fighting, which is a big chunk of the gameplay (hence why I ended up watching the gameplay on youtube -- it allowed me to skip over the fights and just watch the story).

you gotta hand it to South Park's production team though... they are able to keep up with the recent (and even the MOST recent)  topics since they make a new episode (from scratch!) in a matter on 6 days, as shown in their documentary.

 

PS: Linus is a notable fan o South Park.

They have a Amazing documentary on how they do that which is the making of a episode called humancentipad. Meanwhile the Simpsons and family guy take weeks.

I am a fan especially the new season. I think its really good at poking fun at relevant issues in society. 

pc principle is getting annoying though.... I still am really enjoying the season so far.
