Meh, in my opinion none of these really are.

$15 for all 3 mass effects? some of the best RPG games ever made

$20 for Dragon Age - a critically claimed RPG

$5 for garden warfare - pretty fun game for the price of a coffee

$20 for hardline is great with it being a pretty recent game

$10 for BF4 - a game still with a massive online community and tons of content

yup bad deals

I did not you have to like the games!! I meant surely you can see how they are great deals for people that do!

Like, if a ford focus was half price, I would be like "wow that's a good deal", even if its a car i would not buy, I would not just be like "thats shit"

Haha good old fords! But fail to see where you're going with that? It isn't a good deal if you don't want it, it's very subjective.

Something you don't like could still be considered a good deal, without shitting on anybody who IS interested

instead of posting like "thats a shit sale" you can say "those games dont interest me"

its a subtle but significant difference in tone

to add some more to this..

what we usually do is..  "Battlefield Hardline reviewed pretty meh, so if you're not interested in the gameplay of X, Y, and Z... you can probably wait till its $10 or $5."

Absolutely! I just don't like when people come in and make people feel guilty for buying something - peer pressure is a real thing

Yeah pretty sure. At least plants vs zombies and bf4 have been that price on origin before. And the other games I've seen on other sites too. And that's not even mentioning g2a. (Leaving that one out for obvious reasons). I picked up mass effect trilogy for $5 somewhere. It was ages ago so I don't remember. I think gmg. Only exception here is dragon age, which is definately a good deal.

Neither have I. Personally, I don't like the gameplay of either. But they have good stories, or so I've been told. I need to play mass effect. I only played a good 20 min of the first one and never touched the other two.

Yeah the whole "generic fantasy" setting really puts me off those games, they all blur into one and I get SO bored

The story of the new one looks good, but if i get bored playing its pointless

Mass Effect is genuinely one of my favourite series, 2 being an absolute masterpiece of gaming,

I couldn't get past the first one's cluttered menus and clunky controls. Is it worth playing more? It felt generic at first. Also I messed up at character creation so my Shepard looks retarded.

I always just play with the default guy :D cluttered menus? mhm less important as the game opens up IMO, since I mostly just play as the soldier class so I can shoot everything with all the guns :D

I think its worth it, 2 is the best, 3 is very competent (except the ending fuck), but I do like 1 - I recently just did a second play-though of all the games - there are some mods for 1 if you feel it necessary, (personally I dont care)

if you like Sci fi / great story focused games / interesting conversations / shooting shit - then its a great game the second game is really more open and .. is honestly on my top 10

(and if you know me.. I have played A LOT of games)

So have I. How long is each game usually? I'm quite busy. But I'll probably start a play through tonight after work.
