Only 1 thing: I wasn´t sure where I have to put this in the GPU  or here (please tell me i´m new)

What GPU (nvidia, i´m an AMD hater  ) you think that perfectly fit my i5 2320 with 8 GB of RAM without bottlenecking.ç

Now i Have a GTX 960(MSI) :)  and i´m not sure what to upgrade first: my CPU or my GPU

what do you play?

(also, GPU would have been the better topic)

Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:

i5 2320 and 960 sounds fine to me. You want to upgrade the 960?

See where your CPU and GPU usage are at during GTA V.

The cpu and gpu seem pretty balanced to me.  I would personally upgrade the CPU first if I didn't want to do a new build entirely.  Go for a speedier i5 3570/i7 3770 if your budget/motherboard allows it.

Fuck you too, bud. :)

Good way to not get help around here.

You should upgrade GPU first, then move onto CPU.

Sorry FruitBasketSilex but that is the true

Welp, you'll be paying 100$ more for the same fps - your call.

Sorry FruitBasketSilex but that is the true

I'll just sit her with my 390x.

Same performance as a 980, for 150$ less.

:)

It warms up my feet too when I play games, though I'm sure any high end GPU would do that.

Isn´t only fps

Games like Pcars(Runs awfull in AMD) and Far cry 4 are optimized with nvidia gameworks also drivers are more stable (and OC)

I never see below 60fps in fc4, everything as high as it goes. :/ and fc4 doesn't have gameworks, but it has HBAO.

I said not only FPS (also you have a beast of card

Well, in terms of drivers, it appears neither is really better, I used 15.7.1 and it gave me BSODs until I moved to 15.10. On nvidia side, apparently their most stable driver is 353.(something or other), anything newer is buggy.

AMD also has VSR, which is nvidias DSR, and Raptr instead of shadowplay, etc etc etc. I haven't found a game I can't max, as well, gameworks or no.

I could do 60fps on Witcher 3 with game works, albeit at high temps with BSOD driver.

All I'm saying is that AMD isn't bad, and certainly cheaper for the same performance in some areas. I'm pretty sure a 380 beats out a 960.

Also, thanks. :) I love my card.

Ok with this:

Shadow play is smoooooooooooooooooother

It is. But Raptr isnt terrible. I'm just saying, don't let color blind you. If you can find a 380, cheaper than a 960, its better to go with the 380 because you would still get recording, albeit a bit rougher, (a bit. Iirc, nvidia shadowplay degrades FPS by 2-5% and Raptr by 10ish%) for cheaper, and have more graphical horsepower, and a few bucks.

I'm not saying you gotta go one way or the other, just trying to convince you to not be ignorant to what AMD can bring to the table.
