I know the game isn't out yet, but can I get away with only using 4 gigs of ram as opposed to 8 gigs minimum?

My graphics card is an r9 270x 4gb

My processor is an amd phenom II x6 1050t @ 2.8 ghz

EDIT: Thanks for the help! I should have probably said this when I first made the post but I recently bought a 8Gx1 1866 hyper x fury, however when I tried installing it my computer went through a blue screen loop and i could not log in. It would try to load into windows 10, freeze, and blue screen followed by an error message that changed every time it crashed (like it would go from "system_thread_exception_not_handled" to "attempted_execute_of_noexecute_memory" for example). Once I installed my old 4Gx2 kit, everything went back to normal. My motherboard is an ASUS M4A88T-M LE. Is their any incompatibilities with either the motherboard or processor? Or am I doing something wrong?

Its hard to say when the game isnt out yet. Youll be able to play it, it just depends on the settings you set.

4 gigs and gaming is in a way rough. A 4GB .1x4 kit is honestly what? $15-$20 if that?

RAM is the problem you would get if the game ran poorly at low settings. 4Gb vs 8Gb is quite a lots of RAM.

EDIT: Did a look on NCIX US and 8Gb of RAM will set you back $70-$100 USD. There is Patriot Viper 3 Low Profile 2X4GB  DDR3 Dual Memory Kit with a sale code for today to take it from $79.99 to $50.99.

Your saying what I put here will be under my posts?

He already has 4Gb. He can get another 4Gb stick for $21 on Newegg.

I'll be honest, the single threaded performance of that cpu is lacking due to it's low clock speed, if there is anyway you could overclock your cpu a little bit that would help HUGELY. Also 4gb is probably not going to be enough, you could get away with it but you are going to run into issues because of it. I have a buddy also stuck using 4gb of ram and he has loading and stuttering issues.

Some people don't like/know mix matching RAM since it needs to be the same latency, timings and voltage. Even if you get different RAM specs to match each other through the BIOS there still isn't a guaranteed to work.

All he has to do is get the 4Gb stick that matches the one he already has.

Regardless, he can get an 8Gb pair on Newegg for just over $30. NCIX is a rip-off.

They list 8GB as the minimum so I am going to strongly assume no. You're probably going to crash your system when it eats through every bit of memory available on it. The game is probably has a lot of memory hungry techniques to reduce load times and such.
