Youtube is screwing my computer

I have been having some trouble with my PC when it comes to youtube videos, especially when I have multiple windows of it open. At first it only affected Google Chrome. Which is odd because I was only watching youtube with HTML5 (uninstalled Adobe). Then it crashed my entire computer and I had to reinstall Windows 7. Now even with Flash player and Firefox it won't let me open one window without freezing and crashing. Can you guys please help. My PC is bad ass but it can't more of this.

It isnt only Nvidia based problem. When i install Flash on fresh windows 7 and Firefox i get the same stuff. Well maybe not total crash, but system can freeze and firefox go crazy. Then i copy my old profile data and problems go away. Many people say to turn off hardware acceleration in flash settings. Personally ive added plugin in firefox to block all flash animation and such soo only when i click play icon on it the flash will start.

I thought it was only me :x. It seems like anything containing flash makes the browser lock up randomly. It's especially annoying when I'm trying to scroll through YouTube videos.

Google Image searches seem to freeze up the browser too.

Are you on firefox by any chance?

Some low grade one that loan the cable from biggest company in Poland that owns it. But i only have problems till i dont "copy&paste" my profile to Firefox - then i dont have problems. Plus i turn off/delete useless addons/plugins in FF

My CPU should be able to handle even the worst optimized programs... My other laptops/desktops aren't having the problem though.

Funny though it only happens on those stronger machines. But most people claim its Flash and GPU acceleration and not FF in overall. When my GTX560 went to [...] i took out old ATi (yes ATi) card and didnt had problems.

I had no idea this was an issue until now. Using Firefox 23 on Windows 7 and Flash has never given me a problem.

Have you tried using HTML5 video instead and/or viewing videos that use flash on other sites? i.e., Newgrounds. Any difference there?

That is the problem I was having with the Nvidia drivers, it was not affecting games, it would only affect me when I was using firefox.   When I rolled back to 314 it didn't had any problems, and now with the latest drivers it has only done it once in like a week.

Mystery is the source of all true science.
