Hello,

 

I wanted to buy a Windows 8.1 key from /r/microsoftsoftwareswap. I went to the person which had the most positive reviews., and is also a moderator of the subreddit, being /u/s5ean.

I sent him a PM, asking him for selling me a key. Here you can see my PM and his responses:

Just tell him no, that you want to use paypal, or do more research into that checkout system. 

 

He's just trying to get out of paying taxes and fees that paypal charges and instead using some 3rd party checkout instead of paypal. 

 

 

Its likely safe, just, depends on what you're comfortable with.

2checkout is a middleman basically. It protects him as a seller.

Sounds like a scam, If you want fraudulent windows keys just buy them off G2A, If you want a legit key buy It from a certified retailer.

its legfit its just so neither of you need to pay the paypal fees, but if you dont mind paying a bit extra then insist on using paypal for the added protection
