H81 vs Z97?

I'm building my friend a budget PC, and I want to know if there's much of a difference between the Z97 chipset and H81. The cheapest motherboard I can find that has LGA1150 and a USB 3.0 header has H81M, but MY motherboard has Z97. Is there any real difference, or should I go for a Z97?

Only go for Z97 if your chip is overclockable.

Z-boards also allow your FASTER memory to be used, not a big deal for games have no real benefit, but its SOMETHING thats never mentioned.

H-boards your limited to 1600Mhz DDR3 and thats it, even if you HAD faster memory, its at 1600Mhz without Z97.

Z97 also allows SLI IF this friend decides to do multiple nvidia gpus down the road. I have a locked i5 4460 and I decided to upgrade to a Z97 motherboard for this reason.
