Best powerline for the price?

Hi,

After thinking a lot about my internet setup I decided to go with powerline

What model / brand should I go with?

I got a ISP Router / Modem and I'm paying for 60mbps. (Getting 1mbps downloading from steam right now. Using range extender)

I don't need anything fancy It just needs to work =)

I use the dlink av500 and it works really well.

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

- AV200 won't give you the full 60Mbps

- AV500 will probably get close enough that it won't matter

- AV2 gear will go over and above what you want and will be less susceptible to noise but will cost more

 

So anything with an AV500 spec.

i got a D-Link PowerLine AV500 Passthrough Mini Adapter Starter Kit from office works australia after useing a wireless rage extender and my extender was faster than my powerline the speed was

8mbps down 1.5up and the range extender and on the

D-Link PowerLine AV500 Passthrough Mini Adapter Starter Kit i got 2mpbs downa and 0.16 up
