This is my first Witcher game and I feel as if it has just thrown me straight in the deep end. As much as I have been enjoying it it seems to have been a struggle since the start. I am currently doing the quest with the Bloody Baron and have NO idea how I am supposed to beat the Botchling. I have heard it compared with Skyrim and have a fair few hours on that but just can't work the Witcher 3 out, I believe there is a similar crafting and potion making aspect etc but just have no idea how to use it or just what is going on haha. I am currently at the stage where I am tempted to just start over and see if I have missed any key tutorials or something. So yeah, if anyone has any tips or tricks whatsoever for just helping me get into the game it would be much appreciated.

P.s Call me a noob, I couldn't give a sh*t haha I got the game for free packaged with my graphics card and am just disappointed that I am not enjoying it as much as I feel I should/could be.

It's kind of difficult to go over all that stuff. Literally the first 10 hours of the game and the first area served as a tutorial. By the end of it you should already be familiar with all the game mechanics.

But if you have problems fighting wraiths you have to use the Yrden sign to create the trap area where the wraiths can be damaged.

But I don't know what story path you took so you might be against some other challenge.

And since you don't seem to know the mechanics of the game and are already this late into the game you must have skipped a lot of content. You might just be under leveled for that part of the game. Do some side quests to level up and get some better gear and you'll have easier time there.
