The Pentium G3258 might have a few stutters on very CPU intensive AAA titles, but at least it has an upgrade path, as opposed to the Athlon X4 860k AMD Quad-core. Simply put in another stick of the same memory when it's time to upgrade, and maybe swap the video card to a 970 strix. CPU can be pushed all the way to an i7 or e3 1150 Xeon.

And regarding what the other person above me said about getting the pentium, it is far better to get a dual core that has hyperthreading. Especially since the Pentium one stutters with modern AAA games.

Went with an ITX build since it looked the more cost effective route

Well you need to include a budget because we cant really help you.... because someone definition of budget is different to another person.

Second. Also, you could probably run GTA V without any lag or problems on a potato at its lowest settings at 900p. This alone tells us nothing about your system. Furthermore, you could spend $13258971235919234 (exaggeration) on a PC that can play GTA V just fine but just represents really poor value for your money, or blows out your budget anyway.

Help us to help you.
