Mouse Issues with DeathAdder 2013

So my Dad and I just recently finished building my new desk and its great, really smooth, etc.

The only problem is that my Razer DeathAdder 2013 is having problems now, like I think its because the desk is so smooth.

The mouse always has interuptions, like when I move to the left sometimes it will go up and around, sometimes it will go completely spastic.

Does anyone know what's wrong?

Thanks in advance, Sabron.

It's because you're not using a mouse pad.

Mice are designed to track on a mouse pad and not a desk.

Get a steelseries QCK+ and you'll be good to go.

It's what I use with my deathadder 2013 and it's brilliant.

I wasn't using a mouse pad on my previous desk, it didn't have this problem.

Building new desk > Likely made of wood > Laminated with varnish & smooth.

Optical mice can't track on shiny/transparent/glossy surfaces. Just grab a mousepad sheesh

with a high end mouse you should have bought a mouse mat in the first place to really take advantage of it

Meh, its 11:30PM, I'll just have to buy one tomorrow then.

Pathetic Effort by Razer.

How the hell is this a pathetic effort by Razer? For your info IIRC the Deathadder 2013 is fitted with one of the best optical sensors in the market currently available.

Optical mice can't track on glossy/transparent surfaces as i stated previously. If you can afford a $60 dollar mouse, having no mousepad & bashing a company for your own fail & oversight is distasteful indeed!

its not razers problem that some mice have difficulty on shiny surfaces its not their problem you didn't invest in a mouse mat

exactly if I tried using my g700 on the desk I have which is glossy black it doesn't move really at all I'm not calling up logitech having a fit because I didn't buy a mouse mat

I really like the mouse, and how it feels but did they really need to go optical?

you bought the mouse why didn't you just find a laser one and what is wrong with optical it is better than laser at lower dpi and it doesn't have mouse acceleration issues

Sadly, you probably don't realise that if they went with a laser sensor, your mouse won't feel the same.

And for your info, optical sensors track better than laser & have no inherent mouse acceleration associated with how laser mice work. Laser sensors are for companies to market their >9000 'omgwtf imba dpi'

Edit: Just grab a Steelseries QCK, excellent cloth mousepad & cheap.

So you blame razer for it. Logic. They never forced you to buy their mice.
