Hi!

So i decided ill try something i have no experience with - liquid cooling.

I currently use NZXT Kraken x61 for my CPU and no extra cooling for 980ti SLI REF cards.

One of the reasons i bought ref cards was my plan to get into liquid cooling at one point.

And of course i prefer them pushing out air of my case.
Im currently using FD Define R5.

If someone could help me pick out parts from EKWB i would be really grateful.

Im using Palit 980ti and Zotac 980ti

I am not really fond of transparent blocks and im not sure if i need backplates GPU's.

And how to pick pumps and reservoir sizes? Or should i prefer combined ?

I usually like tidy looks but should a beginner like me use hard tubing( i would prefer ) or not ?

I prefer blackish fittings and blocks if possible.

New Build!

Here are the blocks that will fit reference 980Ti PCB's http://www.performance-pcs.com/water-blocks-gpu/shopby/brand--ek-waterblocks/vga-series--titan-x-gtx-980-ti/?

( Yes they are Titan X branded blocks, you can not get blocks for reference 980Ti's that say "980Ti" on them from EKWB )

As for Pumps and Reservoirs, they make a ton of them. DDC pumps are compact but have the possibility of burning out if you do not add a aluminum heatsink to them (adequate cooling). D5 pumps are extremely good but can be bulky ( so consider that when choosing ). Reservoirs are the same way, size does not mater, pick the one that best suits your needs and fits good in your case.

Hard line tubing is easy if you take your time on it and have all the right tools to work with it ( beginners should not be afraid of it ), just make sure you get extra tubing because it will take you a couple of try's to get the hang of it.

In all honesty, picking watercooling parts for other people, is pretty difficult, everyone has different styles, ideas and preferences as to the way they want their builds to look like, but I hope this gets you started on your quest :) and I hope to see you in the build logs section of the forum when you start building your rig.
