Removing drivers?

FruitBasketSilex
Go to solution Solved by Opeth747,

Just leave it installed.

So, I'm stuck at work, in four hours I'm off. My GPU is sitting on my desk in a cardboard box. What I need to know is this: When I plug that 390x in, and hook it up, and plug my TV into it, do I need to uninstall the driver for my integrated graphics before/after I download and install the driver for the 390x? Or do I just leave it installed?

Just leave it installed.

@LoneRangerS

Kickass, thank you both.

And just to be sure, when I put the GPU in, it is able to display at least to desktop without drivers, yes? So then I can go to the site/use the disc (nobody uses disc) to install?

Yes. That way you can keep using your secondary monitors with the igpu.

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.
