i hate microsoft support..

 

had to call them a couple times to get them to reactivate my windows key after i did some hardware upgrades.  they kept telling me that my key was "pirated"  they knew this because they literally typed my key into google.  it was the oem key that came with my prebuilt...

yeah that happened more than once too...  and thats when i started just pirating windows.  its just easier

Lmao "reinstall windows" that's the best thing I've heard all day.

That's there their usual "fix" when they decide to lump a program into the too hard basket. Straight up being told to do a re-install shows that Microsoft knows that their OS is unstable as all hell. *sigh* if only OS/2 had people who actually knew how to market something in charge. That OS was far ahead of anything else at the time, and would have kept up that standard in later iterations.

I've had the same problems this after noon, I just got told to re activate Windows because I disabled my 4790K's hyperthreading. And when I re-enabled it I still get the message to reactivate it. And Microsoft is pulling the same piracy BS.
