I would get a Cryorig H7 over the 212 EVO because it looks nicer and cools better but that is an overall great build. (Bonus points for getting a G2 PSU)

Don't pay that much for the PSU. Everything else is fine. You can get this instead: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TJDY47E/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=87C6CYLYO354&coliid=I31F5QZDL13ECB&psc=1 . Much better use of your money.

The 650W of course, that link automatically puts me on the 850W

Looks solid. I don't like the case, nor the keyboard + mouse, but that's just my personal preference.

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600X            | Cooler: Deepcool AK400  | Motherboard: B550 Elite AX V2  | Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 1TB  |

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB   | GPU: MSI RTX 3060 Ti    | Case: NZXT H440 (Red/Black)    | PSU: EVGA 650W G2             |

I don't like the look of that wireless card.  Do you have an AC router?  If you are still on N then disregard this...

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

The keyboad/mouse combo is bad, but that's about it.

You can save money by only getting 2x4gb of RAM, it will be enough for gaming.

What keyboard do you recommend? I like the extra 8 gigs because I hate getting slow tabs.

If your PSU goes down, so does your system. The G2 is Better Than the one you recommended.

What keyboard do you recommend?

I'd recommend the cheapest mechanical one you can get.

I don't know if things have changed, but this was the cheapest Cherry MX Red keyboard WITH backlighting from a known brand when I got my PC

There are lots of Cherry MX types though.

You didn't ask, but I'd also recommend a Logitech mouse.

The G2 is very similar to the GS. Some things don't need to be taken too literally. Both series of EVGA PSU's (anything besides NEX) are very good power supplies.

If you ever want to get another 390, you'll really want 850w.

Nah, I'm going to stick with this computer for 4 years and after that I'll just recycle the case and PSU. Probably get a brand new one due to all the swift technology changes. Maybe a R12 1100 or GTX 1090 ti.

Yeah I have the G303, it's so good and feels nice in your palm when playing games. Doesn't even feel hot after extensive periods of gaming.

The EVGA GS 850W PSU is great, and the extra 200 watts will give you lots of overclocking headroom/room for future upgrades. The G2's OEM is Super Flower and the GS' is SeaSonic. Both SeaSonic and Super Flower make great PSU's and I would trust either.

I don't like the look of that wireless card.  Do you have an AC router?  If you are still on N then disregard this...

While mine lasted (2 ish years before it started giving me trouble) my wdn-4800 served me very well. I'm considering replacing it with this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833704237 for the sexy black heat sink and 802.11 ac support.

I agree that you should go with a 4790k, which is a faster chip with potentially cheaper motherboards and ram solutions. Cutting back on your monitor and psu as well as losing the dvd drive would probably allow you to stay under your $1600 budget.

Next, while I am a die hard team green fan, I would recommend the gtx 970 especially for it's lower tdp and probably lower noise, but I can't argue with better performance for the same or less money. So I guess you got the gpu right.

That cpu cooler... ok, It's a good cooler, but if you want to do some real overclocking, getting an AIO is worth it as they will remove more heat from your chip. And as I'm writing this you just posted about how you're not going to be overclocking, but I'm not deleting that shit. Okay, now reconsidering, perhaps consider getting a better looking tower cooler. Enermax has an all white thing that would go with your motherboard (I love me a nice black and white build) and of course there's those phanteks beast-monster-demon-hella coolers that if I remember correctly give even some AIO's a run for their money.

Lastly, as a mechanical keyboard elitist, I look down upon that cooler master thang, but I've heard it's not too bad and it's probably not that bad of a place to start. Just get a better mouse. It's sooooooo worth it in the long run especially if you want to be good at fps titles or play competitively. Just investing in a mouse with a good sensor is well worth the money to not have the sensor give you weird tracking issues after only a few months *flashes back to the days of my R.A.T. 5* *shivers*

I hope my dragged out ramblings helps, good luck!

Not going to be downgrading to haswell and I won't be utilizing the cores effectively so gonna back off on that.

I already have a Daedalus G303 Soo
