PSU's capacitator blown help*

Hello,

So, my PSU was making a bad noise a long time ago, and now i decided to check it out and clean some dust.

I found out that two of my capacitors blown, but the computer seems fine, and works fine.

I tried to see online what psu it is but i cant find anything.

It's a UNYKA 600W.

I'm afraid that the psu can Blow the rest of my System.

I was planing to buy a Corsair CX-600W (80+), do you recomend(?).

System specs:

UNYKA 600w

Asus P8H77 -M LE

Intel i5 3470

Asus strix gtx 960 4gb

HD green 500gb (yeah green)

8gb ddr3 1600mhz corsair

btw i had a pci wireless and stopped working, dont know the reason.

The Corsair CX600W isn't one of the few good CX PSU, so avoid it. And looking at the ratings on that PSU (specifically the 5V rail), its design dates back to the days of the Pentium III, AKA back to around 1998-2000, so I'm not surprised its had issues.

Edit: If I had a soldering iron and high quality capacitors, I'd almost kill for a PSU with a 5V rail like that.

Dang only 240w on the 12v rail. I think it may have just cut out to lack of power(don't quote me on that).

For the love of god please don't get a cx power supply

I wouldn't run that PSU anymore, it'll be sending a lot of ripple to the components which will kill them after a while.

The 960 is a power sipper, and even with the i5, it'll be more than good enough.

Yes... I even ran it on a 250W for a test :/

As long as you don't buy Nox, Tacens, Unyka, L-Link.... basically any <50 € PSU that claims 600W or more that looks sketchy AF you're fine.

Also you've at the same price the S12II series PSU, similar but with more cables if you need them: http://xtremmedia.com/Seasonic_S12II_430W_Bronze.html

This is a signature.
