There is no such thing as future proof, but your pc looks like it will do well for a while, might also need more ram down the line

Umm... kinda IMO. Maybe at the future 4690k won't be future proofing. But at least now it is (for me).

Not really a such a thing as "future proof" Its like the water proof argument. You can be future resistant and last a few years

That rig depending what res youre playing at will last you gpu wise maybe 3-4 years depending on how intense the games come out in the coming years.. And youll have to lower your setting as newer games come out each year so if youre okay with that youll be fine.

Yes... But you wont be able to upgrade to a skylake CPU. They kinda fucked everyone on that

Also get a cheaper SSD if you want. There's nothing that can go wrong with one compared to a cheap HDD

But I won't use "FutureProof" for this build. You can use this build for 3-4 years imo.

I don't know what your definition of future proof is, but if i would build a "future proof" PC,

I would go for

 

1. A Skylake i5 (6600k for example)

2. Motherboard to fit the cpu (with socket 1151)

3. DDR4 Memory
