Can I run Fallout 4?

Gi Di

First and foremost, I am incredibly infatuated with the fallout series, I've played every fallout game that was available to PC at least once, Fallout 3 and NV together clock around 600 hours. Can I run fallout 4? I've checked system requirements lab but I've played Metal Gear Rising revengeance on max settings with a steady 40 fps when it shows up as a fail.

My specs:

CPU:AMD Athlon X4 760K

GPU:AMD Radeon R7 260x

8 Gigabytes of RAM

Should be fine. The Game doesn't look so demanding based on screenshots.

Run: almost certainly

you could probably get reasonable FPS as well, I mean it's based off the same engine as Skyrim, and my school netbook with an AMD dual core APU can manage that (unmodded and no high-res textures of course).

that being said, we don't really know for certain until it is released.

Should be fine, you should be able to play every game on that PC, just depends on the settings , of course it wont run maxxed out

but medium settings 1080p, something like that seems reasonable

Games are usually waaaay overspecced - Witcher 3 asks for a 660/7870 yet it runs fine on a 5870 from 2009.

Until that comes out - I'd suggest Witcher 3 or the Metro series :)

OMG, how many times do I have to correct people on this. All the screenshots and game capture are using a Xbox One. Making this mistake is why Game Debate had the system requirements as wrong as they had them. Oi...

OP, you'll be fine at lower settings.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

Is still a Bethesda game

Skyrim looked pretty meh in 2011, Bethesda designs their games for consoles first

Care to come back after it releases? Or go off of this.

Absolutely! It's just my CPU and Graphics cards are a hair lower compared to the recommended requirements, i.e i5 4670k and R9 290.

I should figure out how to update my signature..

Im sure you can run it. But dont expect to run it on max settings. The other end of the slider will be more like it.
