NAT Type Issue

Hi,i'm a GTA Online player.I started using a WIFI connection with my Ethernet cable with a speed of 1mbps.I am using a DLINK Router provided by my ISP or provider.

Now everytime i play GTA Online i usually log in with very few players or get the message "Your NAT type is strict".I have a feeling that i need to set something.I have accessed my router once i saw NAT options i just have no idea what to fill in.Since Linus Tech Tipd has many talented people i really hope someone can troubleshoot for me.I hope for the best.Tq in advance!

Mainly, all you need to enable is UPnP but you may also need to portforward the ports the game uses.

 

What you need to do is get the router's model number and go to portforwarding.com to get all the settings you need to configure.

Try enabling UPnP, also If thats not enough try forwarding some ports on your router.

Hello,i have tried enabling UPnP but there isnt a 100% change.Maybe port forwarding will work as i never tried it and i also dont know where to find port forwarding in my router.I have called the isp once and he told me its only for telephone lines can anyone help me go through this?
