i just got off the phone with corsair though and he assured me right away after listening to my components that i dont have a big enough power supply. i dont know if he was trying to get me to just buy a new one or not but if thats the case it makes the problem much simpler. @Corsair Joseph is there any way u can confirm this for me before i go ahead and get a bigger one?

Page 1 says you have an FX 6350 and an R9 380.

PCPartPicker estimates that's 315 watts.  Even with a decent overhead for other components (fans, drives, ram, whatever) that wouldn't be 285 watts more.

If you replaced your 600 watt power supply for a bigger one and your system works, it wouldn't be because of the higher wattage, but instead because it's a different power supply.

Ya it's frustrating. Troubleshooting hardware isn't easy when there are no spare parts. Are you sure you don't have access to another computer? Even a cheapie one would do. Maybe a friend has one that he could bring over.

When you reinstalled Windows to troubleshoot, you erased the drive first, right? If so, after Windows was installed and updated, specifically what did you do that caused it to freeze? Don't just say something like "I opened a program." Be very specific. And how long after loading the desktop did it take to freeze?

Was ANYTHING else installed? Anything at all? (Including drivers for any other hardware, any games, plug ins, web browsers, etc. anything could be important). Was anything connected? (External hard drive, printer, scanner, camera, iPod, etc).

my friend has a computer and he knows a lot about them i could test it out with his he just can over my house and tried resolving the issue. he changed the threading of the cpu he said and it hasent crashed since he did this. i erased all the drives then i did all my drivers and windows updates (except the 24 that dont wanna work) and the first time it crashed i downloaded rocket league and played it for about 10 minutes. i also installed winrar and avg. the only device i have plugged in is my xbox controller and it crashed before that was plugged in.

Tbh, not sure why the rep said that your 600w is not enough to support your system, because it is as watts explained it. There's no need to get a bigger PSU, that'd be a waste of time and money.

You said on one of your post that you did run memtest, when you ran it, did you run the RAM as kit or one at the time? For a more straight forward testing (not as conclusive as memetest) you could also test each stick on its own by simply using the system with one memory for about 10-15min running your regular apps. Try to find out if one of sticks will trigger the freezing. If the results are all the same, then its not the RAM.

yeah i tried that before and it freezes with both individually it took 45 minutes or so as appose to the normal 10-15 though maybe a coincidence but worth noting when i ran memtest it was with both in

whatever my friend did has stopped it from rebooting itself but is hasnt stopped it from totally freezing and making me have to reboot it. maybe they were different problems or maybe he partially made a temporary fix but i know 100% its not gpu or ram and 100% its not software because ive formatted the drive and had the same problem. mine is a cx600 i dont know a lot about computers as u can tell but does the cx model potentially not mix well with my other components? just a thought i dont know how it works

Well I would really consider downloading a heavy load, but if you can replicate it every single time you're downloading something and playing at the same time, those tasks are obviously affecting your system. You said your friend change the CPU's threading, does it mean that he reseated the CPU into the socket? Double check the CPU pins, make sure you don't have bent pins.

Can you borrow your friend's PSU for testing?

i can borrow anything of his, i tried to use his hdd to see if it was hardware or software and the system wouldnt boot with his but if my system can boot with his cpu ill try that
