hardrive partition removal

i have 2 hardrives 1tb and a 2 tb. i then created a partition on each because im an idiot and now when i try to remove the partition and add it back to the main memory it dosnt work can someone help. i have included a screenshot link. but for some reason the partitons will not merge back with my hdd's any help is welcome.

format the free space

you can't put them back cause they are now logical partition(the green box mean that) you're going to need a partition software to do that. mini partition tool is great for the job

the other partition are primary(the blue one) so you can't mix them

just format everything OP

yes you can through windows but you have to delete all partitions

if you don't need them it's faster

i tried deleting it and extending it but with no luck so im gonna try the mini partition tool

it's not that hard to do, just use this software or a simillar one. first delete all partitions than create a new primary partition
