it would be fine for about half a year, then you would have to clean the loop and replace the coolant.

what is the best way to clean a loop? does that involve dismantling the system?

And if I use destiled water?

if you use water, it wont look as nice, but it will last ylway longer. As long as you have a biocide, it a kill coil.

And if I use destiled water?

For the pastel coolants they are good for long term use but it's usually recommended to change fluids every 6-12 months. Some of the older fluids tended to clog or settle out but the new stuff theses days don't have any of those issues.

Compared to distilled water the main difference is if you change colors or flush the loop there is less work needed to get everything cleaned out.
