Hi guys, is there anyway to view my DDR3 RAM temps? I've had them overclocked since june and they're very stable, but it worries me that RAM doesn't have any kind of protection in case it gets too hot, so I would like to have an idea of how hot is running, I'm open to non-free software, although I prefer free (obviously), Here's my overclocked setup:

-Stock: 4 sticks 1600 MHz CL10, 10-10-10-28 at 1,5V

-Overclocked: 4 sticks 1866 MHz CL10, 11-11-11-31 at 1,520V

I'm worried if it gets too hot because of those extra 0,20V and the extra speed from 1600 to 1866 MHz, while gaming I'm not sure, but when video editing it makes a little bit of difference. I haven't touched anything else just in case.

So, how could I see those temps?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's not CL10 anymore if you're running 11-11-11-31... it's CL11

But at any rate, that's hardly an overclock and not very much voltage so you should be more than fine.

I don't know if you can monitor RAM temperatures, but you can stick temperature probes on them.

Also, is your RAM rated at 1600 or 1866?

sorry, typing mistake: 10-11-11-31

Oh ok.  and like I said that setup is probably fine at that speed and voltage.

The real question is have you done any tests to show an actual performance improvement?

Not gaming, but I've done some video editing test, not a HUGE improvement, I think it was near a 4% less time, I did 10 test with each one stock and overclocked and took the average time of both. I know it doesn't sound much but my files were at 1080p at 20000 kbps and about an hour long, I do a lot of editing, so 4% less time during a month saves a few hours. Also I'm not sure but I imagine that a 4K file at 100000 Kbps of about 3 hours and 150 GB would benefit more from the extra speed (not sure since I've never tired)
