Computer wakes itself from sleep mode?

Hey!

When I put the computer in sleep mode, it wakes itself about 10 mins later, why is that, and how can I set it off?
I built the pc recently, didn't have problems like this before, is it some kind of new option in UEFI bios?

It wants you to game. 

 

Try turning off wake by mouse and keyboard in your powersavingsettings.

I had a similar problem - i remember it had something to do with wake on signal through ethernet. flipped that off and it's been fine ever since

Mine does the same thing, but only for about 10 seconds then goes back to sleep.

Same, but it doesn't do it all the time.

Go into the bios and disable all Wake from sleep options.

After doing that the only thing that should wake it is the power button.

Keyboard and mouse wake is disabled, I was lying on my bed and I heard the starting sound you know when some part of the computer turning on and giving this noise. I have an asus z97 pro gamer if it is rings a bell for someone about the bios or smth.

Might check to see if there is a scheduled task (backup, software updater...etc. ) waking the computer up.

 

In the past I have had the same issue with Virtual Box and keyboard software (Razer Synapse) as well causing the same issue.

Disable the "Wake from xx" timers in BIOS, and turn off wake timers in the Windows power options.
