i think i will get an other 960

960 SLI is pointless - the VRAM is what limts you, not the GPU horsepower - a 2GB is barely enough for 1080p gaming as we speak - adding a 2nd monitor will criple a 960 - sell it and get a 390

Why wouldn't it work?

 

Make sure you have compatible hardware wand that you correctly install drivers, you'll be good to go.

And down the road you can buy another R9 390 for Crossfire and be set for a long time when it comes to 1440p gaming at 60Hz or higher.

^My GTX 970 is proof of that-playing at 2x 1080p (DSR) and its VRAM really starts to be a problem (all 4GB is used, well 3.8GB is, I had to turn down a few settings to stop it from spilling to RAM)
