So, a friend and I convinced another friend to build a PC instead of buying a "Next-Gen" console. :D

He's only limited to around $500, but really wants to play Fallout 4 when it comes out. He's limited to buying from amazon, doesn't mind the color scheme, and just want a PC that runs. So, no bias towards NVIDIA/AMD or anything.

EDIT: Sorry if I didn't give enough information. I've been out of the loop for quite a while.

Damn usa is so cheap... that kind of pc would cost like 550€ (630$) in France  :o

true, in EU computer stuff is more expensive.

however in the US, one trip to the hospital will cost more then 10 ballin gaming rigs. So what we pay extra, we save in other areas....

Hey, thanks for taking the time for the choices, but you forgot one detail. It's an easy fix, but you didn't "Amazon prices".

Not bad though, I'll probably give him the second list.

Whatever you do though.

If you can get it cheaper, get a MSI R9 380 OC.... its a tidbit better then the powercolor one, but also a bit more expensive :|

As for performance of the two suggestions:

FX will do slightly better in newer games and streaming

i3 will do better in older games and day 2 day tasks...
