quick question. is it safe to run gpu fans at 100% all the time and what about cpu either, will it reduce the fan life time or ?

I mean I don't really understand why you would want to do that.... They will be extremely loud and the drivers and the computer will automatically adjust the speed when they get hotter

No they are not designed to run at 100% at all never mind 24/7.

they can but shouldnt be ramped up that far.... at a certain point the speed of the fan no longer matters

No they are not designed to run at 100% at all never mind 24/7.

 

Fans can run 100% all the time, the MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure) are usually based on running fans at their maximum until they fail depending on the manufacturer's testing, so it will reduce the lifespan but not more than what it should be rated for from a reputable company.

 

Some may do more realistic testing and say 75% of their full speed to extended what their ratings are however.

yeah its just not really needed. ramping fans up that high dont necessarily mean better temps

I would experiment with the speeds see where the best speed for best temp is or just leave it alone and let the computer take care of it
