A tech dilemma...

Prysin

So.... I live in Norway. Shits expensive here... and while i CAN afford all of this with ease i "cannot" afford it (atleast if i want any money in my savings account)....

So... my current setup is in my signature for those wondering. The question and or dilemma i have is...

Fury X2 (Dual Fury)

or

Samsung 950Pro 512GB NVME M.2 SSD

or

EKWB Predator 360 AIO (i will later on also get a Predator 240 and a waterblock for whatever is my GPU)

what would you guys get?

None of them really seem to be worth it for you atm IMO. If you're gonna go watercooling, do it right. You already have decent SSD's and 295X2 is not by any means outdated yet.

I see no reason to change anything for now.

^This.

That setup is completely fine, there is no need to change anything. Save the money so that when something comes out that you really want/need you have a good chunk of the cash there.

hahaha

money is never the issue here really. My upgrade itch and self control is :|

You have a 295x2.  There's no point in getting a Fury X2.

295x2 = 15-20% better then Fury X

when no CF = 30% worse then Fury X

My issue is the times when CF doesnt work.... Which leaves me at a serious disadvantage...

So my plan with the Fury X2 is so that when CF doesnt work, i still have a Fury X. Not a marginally OCd 290X

Still, nothing you really need to upgrade.

With your current build, it looks like the only thing that may provide a noticeable improvement would be the Fury X2 though we don't really know the real capabilities of the FuryX2, just what AMD has told us.

The EKWB may be quieter than your current AiO, but with the stated expandability of the 360 that system can easily be the start of a custom loop.

So the real question is, what do you want to see in your case?

i want to rebuild the whole rig if i could

but THAT would break the bank, litterally...

My case is my current gripe thought... that and the two 120GB + 250GB SSDs...

Case is cool af, but impractical beyond belief..... :|

SSDs are taking up both physical and SATA port space... need to upgrade those to something bigger or faster...
