Looking for a new CPU fans

Not personally, but I know the Silver Arrow has scored very well. Apparently thermalright is/has about to release a new one too - you should be able to google it. Also, Noctua and Phanteks have excellent coolers..

If you want quietness in your pc, get a Noctua D14 cooler, but the Quiet! Dark Rock 2 and the Thermalright Silver Arrow are good choices too.

You can't be serious! These are exactly my 2 favorite CPU coolers! (Well, the Silver Arrow SB-E extreme). In Europe this improved version has exactly the same price as the beautiful Dark Rock Pro 2. At idle, they do not make more noise than a NH-D14 while cooling a little better (ok, 1.5-2°C is not much, but it's something).

Here are some small remarks before considering them. No product is flawless:

- The Dark Rock Pro 2 is a pain to install. If you switch coolers on a regular basis, you'll loose a lot of time and go crazy.

- The SB-E extreme makes a LOT of noise when under load cooling an OC'ed system (but temps are impressive). I haven't personally had this issue, as I don't OC and have the heatsink in semi-passive cooling (silent rig).
