First things first: I own shield products,

I have 2.4 and 5G routers on every floor of my house.

I game stream A LOT.

An AMD card is out of the question, nothing personal,

I just MUST have game streaming.

Okay guys, time to put the final touches on my PC build. Last month, I got a new CPU, PSU, MOBO and a cooler. Now I am ready for more RAM, an HDD, and most important of all GPU.

Here is my build: Green means it's already in my PC, so I wont be changing or replacing these parts.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor  (Purchased For $0.00)
Motherboard: ASRock Z97M Pro4 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  (Purchased For $0.00)
Memory: G.Skill Value 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  (Purchased For $0.00)
Memory: G.Skill Value 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  ($44.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: PNY Optima 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  (Purchased For $0.00)
Video Card: Zotac GeForce GTX 970 4GB Video Card  ($290.00)
Total: $380.88

My build is an mATX build so I wanted to go with the smallest GPU possible. I want it to be at most 8 inches. The one I have chosen seems to be the smallest one with 2 fans, I can go smaller, but I don't trust the cooling.

My budget is about $450, and I only want a 970 because I plan to upgrade again when Pascal and HBM drops on the Nvidia side. But other than that, is there any upgrades you guys would make? I am also considering SLI 970s for some reason.

Thanks yall.

AMD Fury Nano? Jkjk,

There is a mini version of the EVGA GTX 970 out there ^^

I gotta say that Fury Nano was sooo alluring to me. I wanted it really bad for about 10 minuets lol then the LTT video ended hahah

Anyone have any drive recommendations? I am at work right now and I have TEN broken seagate barracuda drives sitting next to me lol.

Hahaha, if i read well, you are just a gamer, and not a video editor, i would go for an SSD as boot drive, and a WD blue as Mass Storage, some tests prove that the WD Blue are better than the Seagate Barracuda's, if you have more budget, Hitachi Driver are just Fu**ing monsters, i have them in my server since 2007, 0 problem

Budget isn't much of an issue for me. I added the WD black for $70. I want to start making videos, I am funnier than Pewds, but he rocks at editing.

But I do have an SSD boot drive :) Was my very first upgrade back in the day lol .
