I'd go with 1440p then but if you can afford it

27 inches for a 2560x1440 panel. 22~24 inches for a 1920x1080/1200 panel. I feel that IPS (or at least not TN) is a must these days, spite the higher price tag that they often come with.

It has a remote, other than that all the functions are basically equal. Apart from some rts thing they promise(which is already in the 2411).

Internal components is better I suppose. More overclocking.

The 970 Can surely run games at 1440p  at least around High in every game maybe some settings a little bit more everyone called it a 1440p Card when it was released... It obviously cant run 1440p on ULTRA Preset & 16xAA on the most demanding game out there but it gets the job done  i use a Single r9 290 which is a very similar card in performance and i play 2160p High-Medium no AA and in every new game it keeps it around the 50s-65FPS range

From someone who has used a GTX 970 at 1440p, I can say it performed very well. You will have to cut back on AA and a few textures, but the higher resolution made up for it. 60 fps was no real problem.
