Do I need to know programming to enter university? Can I enter foundation without any programming knowledge?

 

Depends on what you're going to university for.

 

You probably don't need to know programming to go to university, though if you're taking a course like computer science (or some other programming course), you'd be best off with at least some of a background with it, just to make the experience a little easier.

no you dont

there are lots of first year programming courses

 

they should tell you the prerequisites on the website, and it will probably just be regular stuff like math and physics and whatever, no programming needed

If you are going into a program such as computer programming, they usually have first year courses where you can learn basic skills. However, it is always a good idea to get started ahead of time so that you have an idea of what you are going into. Practice and learn my friend.
