Do I need a sound card?

Hi there!

I'm looking for a sound card (I assume) that comes with good software that will allow me to switch from speakers to wireless usb headphones easily.  The speakers are the cheaper logitech 5.1 z506's, and the headphones are the corsair 2100's.  I'd like to have both plugged in, and be able to switch easily between the two.  I should elaborate that switching currently doesn't work (Dont ask)

 

What do I need?

A sound card wouldn't help you with a wireless headset, since that's a totally different set of audio hardware... The headset won't interface with the sound card at all.
