Windows 10 games wont launch

sooo with my windows 10 none of my games launch (never had this problem with windows 8) well none is a overstatment

 

far cry 4* MSVCP100 IS MSSING FROM YOUR COMPUTER

 

dragonball Xenoverse had the problem but i solved it (no idea how)

 

and any other game has some problem (invovling a .dill missing)

 

(sorry for the grammer just got up from staying up too six thats um 4 hours of sleep)

Try to reinstall your graphics drivers and try again.

took me a while but i did it....

Sorry bud but you can't really do much. I had the same issue but with Unturned, GTA V, and some other games. I fresh installed 10 re downloaded newest drivers, did the old drivers, nothing worked to ended up going to 7.

I have all these games installed, and they are 100% working.

Did you do an upgrade or a fresh Windows 10 install?

It's not your graphics card drivers.

You need to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package.

If the game is in 64-bit install the 64-bit version, if not install the 32-bit version (or install both, they are just DLL's it doesn't harm anything)

Normally the game should either include the files, or link them to be part of the game, but many games don't do this for some reason, so you have to figure it out for yourself that you need this specific things.

I do know that Win10 has removed and changed the OS to disable SecurROM DRM/rootkit, because it creates serious security issues for people which are widely exploited. If those games uses it, it might explain why you can't play them.

 

As for FarCry 4, I see many threads online, even on the Ubisoft forum: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1245099-Far-Cry-4-amp-Windows-10-Forums

Did you try looking at them and trying what they suggest? Did you try running the game under Windows 7/8 compatibility mode? (right-click on the exe or shortcut of the game, select Properties, go under the Compatibility tab, and you can set which OS you want to emulate)
